Quotable Quotes:

"Cherry Hill is one of those rare communities where it's small enough to get to know almost everyone while at the same time, it's diverse enough that everyone can find their unique place within the community. Each person has a role and contribution which they can make"

About Kohelet Yeshiva

The Kohelet Yeshiva High School, a Torah-based, college preparatory school, offers equal opportunity for young men and women to obtain a quality Judaic and General studies education. Our primary goal is to provide an environment that fosters scholarship, intellectual curiosity, love of learning, and a commitment to Halachic Judaism.

As a Modern Orthodox Jewish day school, we strive to create a community of knowledgeable and observant students who are able to think, act, question and express themselves independently while respecting Jewish authority, tradition and Halacha. Half of the school day is devoted to Jewish studies and Hebrew language. The curriculum emphasizes study of Torah and classic Rabbinic texts, including Talmud, prayer, observance of mitzvot and a commitment to Jewish ethical principles. Hebrew is taught both as a living language and as a tool for textual study. Through involvement with Jewish history, Zionism, current events, and Jewish and Israeli culture, the students develop a positive identification with the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Our Jewish studies teachers are both positive Jewish role models and highly qualified educational professionals.

As a college preparatory high school, Kohelet Yeshiva High School provides students with a secular education that will enable them to succeed at the best institutions of higher learning. We offer individualized instruction in a curriculum that encourages an inquiring attitude and emphasizes critical thinking skills in the humanities, arts and sciences.

Our expectations are that Kohelet Yeshiva High School graduates will become self-assured and involved future Jewish leaders. As intellectually and spiritually integrated individuals, they will be fully committed Jews and Americans.

About The Foxman Torah Institute

Foxman Torah Institute located in the heart of the Cherry Hill orthodox Community fills a critical void in the Yeshiva High School field of the Delaware Valley.

Our high school division, Mesivta Bais Dovid has a mission to provide young men with a comprehensive Torah education that will serve as the foundation of their development as B’nei Torah. Our Goal is not merely to produce good Jews, but rather Jews distinguished by their dedication to ongoing Torah study, their commitment to personal character development, Torah values and responsibility to Klal Yisrael, and their understanding and appreciation of the richness and beauty of a Torah lifestyle.

We feature an award winning Secular Department as well as an array of electives and extra curriculars to keep our students happy and occupied. Following the traditions and principles of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim, the Mesivta’s program is designed to engage the intellect and emotion of each student so that skills, knowledge, and values critical to his total development are most effectively transmitted.
