Congregation Sons of Israel has proudly maintained the community's Mikvah on its property for more than 3 decades. As our community has grown, our original mikvah was no longer able to keep up with demand.

In February 2013, Sons of Israel dedicated a brand new addition to the Rabbi Rothman Torah Campsus, Mikvah Ohel Leah. Mikvah Ohel Leah is a state of the art facility with ample preparation areas, elegant appointments, modern comforts and security, while meeting the highest halachic standards, and was constructed with the assitance of Mikvah USA.

We run on a volunteer system. We request that volunteers be given 24 hours notice of a need to use the Mikvah unless this is not possible. On Friday evening the "buddy system" is used. For the names of the volunteers for the month, please call the Mikvah phone at (856) 667-3515. The names and phone numbers are listed on the recorded message. The schedule of volunteers can also be found on the Sons of Israel website.

The cost of using the Mikvah is $25 per visit. Annual membership plans are available starting at $180.

We also have a convenient Keilim Mikvah located at the rear of the Mikvah Ohel Leah facility that is open from morning until sunset.

Our original Mikvah is now a dedicated men's mikvah available for daily use.

About Mei Shifra Mikvah

The new Mikvah Mei Shifra was built with the needs of the local Jewish community in mind. It is a glamorous facility that offers women the opportunity for a deeply moving, spiritual experience - a spa for the body as well as the soul. It also serves as an educational resource providing tours for schools and synagogues and other interested groups.

Our facility offers the best in comfort, hygiene, aesthetics, and privacy. It boasts a well-appointed waiting room, two luxurious preparation rooms, and a uniquely designed women's Mikvah. The rear portion of the building houses a separate men's facility. Our mikvah is fully equipped with all the supplies needed in preparation for immersion.

Mikvah Mei Shifra of Cherry Hill is discreetly located on the rear portion of The Chabad Center on Kresson Road in Cherry Hill. The Mikvah has its own designated parking area.

Our mikvah attendants provide warm caring individual attention for every client. Our Mikvah also offers pre-marital counseling for brides and educational programming related to Jewish family life.
